Like many of us, I inhereted my first camera from my grandfather. A later attempt at dismantling it for cleaning purposes ended in tragedy (lots of springs and cogs left over)! However, this was enough to kick-start an interest which has been with me ever since.

I guess that the majority of my pics reflect scenes from countries visited around the globe although some of my early 'snaps' are excluded as they are just snaps!

I have given photography a more serious approach in recent years, by this I mean that I try to apply a little more thought and imagination before releasing the shutter.

I believe that the best part of any camera is the eye behind it, with it's creativeness only being limited to that of the photographers mind.
